Argelès-sur-Mer and its region
Flagship resort on the Catalan coast in the heart of the Pyrenees Orientales, one of the sunniest regions of France
Nestling at the foot of the Albères massif 20 km south of Perpignan, Argelès-sur-Mer, the largest tourist and seaside resort on the French Catalan coast, combines all the assets for a holiday that is as sporty as it is “relaxing”. Its vast 7 kilometer sandy beach, one of the largest in the region and the last before the Spanish border; its 12-hectare pine forest on the seafront and its 3-kilometer tree-lined promenade make it a very popular destination for lovers of outdoor activities, swimming, water sports and other hikes.
